Aleksey Martsenyuk – is another Powerslide sponsored rider in our crew, equipped with a wide range of skills related to urban/freeskating. This guy definitely can slide – in fact, he took a title of European Champion in slides back in 2014 and placed 3rd in World Championship the same year.
Aleksey is one of the “purebreed” freeriders – in an era when most urban skating edits are made by aggressive skaters making a jump to big wheels, he has developed and polished his skills from scratch on freeskates. In fact, he has picked up aggressive inline only recently and uses it to progress his skills even further. His vocabulary of tricks is constantly growing and as of now, he is one of the best (if not the best) freeskaters in Poland!
Apart from that, Aleksey runs a business as a co-owner of Mary Crane brand, which makes skate holders for easy transportation and soft caps for helmets. When it comes to his personality, he is a very cool, friendly guy. Of course, he also teaches skating and are highly valued as an instructor by people who want to take their urban skating skills to the next level. It is worth to note that Aleksey does have a responsible approach, teaching his students not only tricks and techniques, but also how to stay safe when riding in urban environment and how to react to unexpected events.
