Patryk_Przyczyna

Patryk “Kytrap” Przyczyna – he is not a champion of any style. In fact, he has never competed. He does have a very decent set of skills, though, to give him that. His journey with teaching skating has begun by accident – one time his friend, who was running classes, was short-staffed and asked him for help. It turned out that Patryk does have a real knack for it and people wanted to have more lessons with him.

This pushed him towards becoming a certified instructor and nowadays, he is the most recognisable and popular one in Warsaw. This is thanks to his creative ways of teaching skating – his head is full of out-of-the-box ideas for exercises. Another factor are his high level of activity on Instagram – he used it as a tool to reach out to new audience and boost numbers of his students.

Patryk is also known for his strict and demanding approach to teaching – he raises the bar for his students very high and there is no “I can not do it” in his book. This guy is kind of a miracle, when it comes to working with people, and can make good skaters out of people in any age, including those who got into it super late in their life – and we mean it. Least to say, one of his students is 75 years old lady who achieved such proficiency in skating that she is now learning how to ride stairs backwards.

Achievements and background:

  • Patryk is undoubtely in top 3 of our most recognisable instructors and actually is not able to teach all people who want to attend his classes, there are so many!

  • When he travels through the country, visiting other cities than Warsaw, attending events, people line up to have classes with him.

  • One time, he ran a workshop for 160 people. He did it alone, absolutely nailed it and audience walked away with smiles on their faces.
