Tomasz Szymczyk (Szyszka) – he formed the I Love Rolki project, created the biggest network of inline skating schools and rallied a community of almost hundred inline skating instructors under one banner. It is truly a unique organization which, helps people to turn teaching inline skating into a full time job with decent salary. If you want to connect your passion with your job and do what you love, Szyszka is the guy who will show you how to do it. As someone said “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”
What is more, Tomasz is not just a businessman – he lives and breathes skating. Holding a position of Polish team manager for Powerslide and being one of the key people at Bladeville skateshop, he supported many talented skaters over the years. The success of Czapla sisters is in part thanks to him, as he was guiding their careers since they were teenagers. Another example are Marek and Mateusz Kania brothers, gifted speedskaters and their colleague Aleksandra Glamkowska. Seeing that Tomasz himself is an aggressive skater, it would be odd if he wouldn’t take at least one talent in this field under his wings – one of the most gifted “bladies” in Europe, Patrycja Najda, has also worked with him since her early days. Szyszka is a very progressive guy, with down-to-earth attitude coupled with outgoing personality, constantly inspiring and pushing people to make their dreams come true.
In addition, if you have any questions about inline skating equipment, he is the guy to go to, as years of working with Powerslide and in skateshop made him an expert on the subject.
Outside of skating, he is happy and proud father of his son, who has just started to learn inline skating after “somehow” losing his scooter.
